Port Gamble General Store & Stables Investigation
Jan. 5, 2010
Port Gamble, WA
Members Present: Francene, AJ, Colette and one other female team member.
Weather: Foggy w/ rain at times. Temps in the mid 40’s w/ a slight wind of 4mph from the north
Moon Phase: Waning Gibbons (1/4 past full)
The team arrived around 7:30pm to begin set up in the General Store. The DVR system was used in the General Store w/ 2 cameras placed on the main floor (one by the bar mirror and another by the front windows shooting down towards the bar mirror), 3rd camera on 2nd floor looking down the stairs towards the front door and the 4th camera on the 3rd floor pointed towards the cash register/safe. A digital voice recorder was placed on the 1st floor and 3rd floor of the store. AJ had to return home for the DVR monitor and during this time, team members Francene, Colette and one other female team member continued with set-up. Voices were heard by all 3 during this time so a recorder was brought out, activity seemed to die down as soon as that happened but still, the team was lucky enough to have caught some EVPs on recorder during the initial set-up.
Set up for the Stables was done about an hour after set-up for the store was completed. All team members went to the stables leaving the store totally empty. In the stables we used 2 hand-held night vision cameras (on tripods) and 2 digital voice recorders. 1 camera and recorder were placed in the big room and the other camera and recorder were placed in the small room w/ the stairs leading up to the loft area. Team members remained in the stables for about 25minutes for set up and a look around. Odd K2 hits were noted up in the loft area by some glass window panels as well as on Aj’s back going up the stairs and then in one spot on the stairs were the loft floor begins. Another odd K2 hit was in the small room about waist high that seemed to form a circle. That hit also disappeared when a second time around with the K2 was taken.
In the General Store the only ‘odd’ K2 hit recorded was on the ‘devil fish’. Other then that, the EMF measurements were within normal range. Temperature fluctuations were noted on the 3rd floor but there was a wind coming out of the north so that can not be ruled out with the older glass panes in that area of the temperature fluctuations. The bar mirror had been noted for seeing shadows . . . When a person comes out of the restroom area, you can just barely see the person as they walk out of that hallway into the main general store area which, if seen from the corner of your eye, could be taken for a shadow passing by.
Investigation wrapped up around Midnight
Evidence Review:
Once evidence was reviewed, there was nothing note worthy on the DVR film nor in the photographs of the either the General Store nor the Stables. EVPs were caught in the General Store with no certain area prevalent and really nothing more then ‘house’ settling noises being noted in the Stables.
